Very true - I guess between all the flac N/A people get when they want to go turbo and the fact I only own a HPT, it's very easy to view the LPT setup as somehow being inferior. I figgured the higher CR of the LPT would somehow exacberate the low-RPM rod-bending issues frequently seen with the very large turbos. But I guess a good tune can even offset that.

And I think Evan's car is a 97, but I'll let him confirm / deny that. When he blew his headgasket the shop did stuff to it and it's a helluva lot faster than a stock GLT, I can definetly say that.

this thread is absolutly retarded.

if you're getting a conical 15g, you can keep the same downpipe.

if you're getting a 16t, you'll need a new downpipe with a flat flange.

this topic has come up sooo many poking times, i don't know what to even say anymore........
