I want the 235´s to fill out the rims but also keep a low diameter. I think they will do the job./Mike

(if you can even get 'em)BFG got them, just watch out for the load index cause they are often made for GTI cars = low weight.225´s are just a little bit un-wide for Nebula but I don´t know about other rims. Both Nebula and Pegasus got 235/40-18 from stock and I think 235 looks best./Mike

(if you can even get 'em)lol, that would be really small man....Plus, those Nokians have got to be flippin' sweet! I am running 235/35... it does look like alot of meet on the tires w/ the volutions though, I know what you mean. Prolly how that lip is there.on a side note...I have absolutely no rubbing issues of any kind accept when I pass out and wake up to zuluking rubbing my crotch asking me to take him for a ride in my mustang. That kinda kreeps me out.GaryJesus.....
shaun
Thinking about getting some wheels and wondering the exact size/offset for ideal setup with 18's. So far I am thinking something around 18x8 I think offset should be between 34 and 42 but I would like some opinions on 18x7.5 and different offset and spacer options with either size. Right now I am running 225-40-18 and get some bad rubs on my 18x8 wheels. I know this has been talked about over and over and I have read plenty believe me. Just saying ideal setup for minimal rubs and maximum tire area. Opionions please I am thinking about getting some expensive wheels and only want to do it once.I am in the minority in this i know because it does not look as cool as big wheels, but 225 45 16 on 7" 43mm offset gives; no rubbing, no speedo error, good rim protection, good curb protection, more traction(than a 215 od of the same tire), decent ride, and the set up wieghs 10lbs a corner less than titans with 225 45 (52lbs!) did. taking the titans with 225 45 off and putting these on was worth 20 h.p. (butt dyno) and the ride and handling are way better. I also picked up a solid 2mpg at the same time, not to mention the wheels were cheap and so is the tire size (compared to 18") bigger wheels look WAY better though! In terms of tire sizes, I wouldn't go smaller sidewall than 225/35...215/40/18 will also work on 18x8 and give a little more protection than 225/35.18x7.5: +43 would probably be best - gives 9mm more clearance on outer fender and 3mm more on inner fender liner than 18x8 +40. This should provide plenty of room to lower the car and you should be able to easily do 225/35 or 215/40.Stay away from 225/40/18 unless you plan on rolling the fenders - otherwise you will rub with a lowered 850- Not sure if you read this, but could be helpful- wheel offset calculator

That was all helpfull. I think 18x7.5 +43 FTW unless someone else has anything else to say? What about 235/30/18 tires on a 7.5 rim?

The only tire I've found in that size is the Toyo Proxes T1R, and the only suitable rim width listed is 8.5". So that is definitely a no-go on a 7.5" or 8" wide wheel.
