Ebc Civinco Compatible

I don't want to use the bcs but I haven't had the best luck with any other boost controllers as far as consistency in different altitudes and temperatures. Is there a quality EBC that will work with the civinco controllers? Links please?

I don't think any EBC is going to work directly with Civinco. That being said, I am using Civinco and an A'pexi AVC-R(Awesome boost controller; I don't understand why more people don't use it) to independently control boost.

Civinco can control boost, but it's much more convenient to do it with an EBC.

An N75 valve which is similar to the stock BCS will work very well. You can wire it up to Civinco and control boost through there.

whats the point? The VAG N75 valve isn't much different from the one volvo uses.

I was reading this post, just wondering if someone actually used one of these yet and was able to change boost levels with the civinco successfully. How would one of these work as opposed to an aftermarket performance EBC?

Im using a stock n75 valve, it works great, just like a aftermarket ebc if you have the settings dialed in right. With Civinco, you can control boost by either just duty cycle by load values or rpm, or u can use the boost regulating loop and select how many BAR of boost based on the rpm.

If you have Civinco, why spend hundreds on a EBC when u can get a BCS, either Volvo or VW for just $30.

You can use any BCS, you just need another because if you disconnect the stock one, you will throw codes. N75 just happened to be the easiest and cheapest I came across when I was searching for one.

Yeah, use the built in functions and save cash.

If you want a EBC (for some reason), why even try to hook it up to the Civinco?

EBC is a stand alone boost controller, just mount it.

I think what he was referring to was just a Boost Control Solenoid, of course if you have a full EBC, (which is a BCS + Solenoid Driver and controls) you should just use the entire unit separate. But to save money and use the built in features, you can just buy a separate BCS, like the VW N75 valve I am using, and hook it up to civinco. Using Civinco I can control the gain and set a boost curve with a visual 2d map and see exactly how the car will boost based on rpm and load.
