Ok. for the past 2 weeks ive been trying to restore a 96 volvo 850 turbo wich was a stolen vehicle . (many parts were stolen from this car) of coarse like many stolen cars the cd player and all the speakers were stolen so im in the process of re-wireing everything back together. well the wires from the back of the headunit were cut so i got other ones and redid them. but im having problems with 4 wires. they all match the same color. but there are 2 reds with black on them. and 2 whole blacks. i dont want to mismatch it. and i did search through out the whole forums and havent found anything that could help me figure out wich ones exacly goes were. so if any one knows wich one is wich and where it goes. or would have some sort of diagram for it that would be great. thanks

Do you have a DMM(Digital Multi Meter)? As that's really the only way to know for sure.

As for the factory amp, very few 850's actually have the amp. Pretty much only the R's and Platinum Edition 850's had them, and I have yet to see a factory amp in person in all the 850's I've worked on.

And if you do decide to run off the factory amp, at least get the line out adapter.

And I agree, 8 infinity tweets are 8 too many for my tastes :P haha, j/k seriously a set of components up front off that amp and I think you will have all the highs/mids you need.

Also, sell everything but the amp and comps, sell everything else, and invest that money into a set of quality kick pods and you will def be set.
