SFXC70 Posted July 15, 2006 Report Share Posted July 15, 2006 Hi,I have an 04 XC70 and I plan on swapping out my interior including dashboard with the interior of my 05 XC70 Donor mobile. I have the HU-613 in the 04 and the 05 has the HU-650, Is the 2 harness plugs on the rear the same or will I have to pull the harness too? I tried to upgrade my HU-613 to the HU-803.... After removal of my deck it came to light that the 803 deck only gives pre-amp output for use with the Volvo amp and it had a different harness hook up... The 613 has built in amplification. Does the 650? The 05's interior is a little diferent, The stereo and climate controls have a wood trim around then as well as the shift knob. My 04's HU-613 and climate controls would fit into the dash opening... Minus the wood trim surround. I am just wondering if I'll be able to us the 05's head unit in my 04. Both cars have the same audio package, No amp... 6 speakers. I think the 650 is the latest rev of the 613....
