SoCal_S60R
Driving home for lunch today. Temp has been 100+ all week. Sitting at a light and the temp gauge dropped to zero. As I pulled away, engine seemed fine, but 0 boost. Limped it home and shut it off with hood open for an hour...hoping it just needed to cool off. Started it up and same problem still....temp gauge still at 0, so I didn't even bother moving it. Volvo Roadside Assistance is sending a truck to take it in.First impressions for new Volvo owner are hanging in the balance.... :(

SoCal_S60R
so wait, the car just up and died?Nope...starts and runs ok, so it would seem. Just temp gauge won't move, and there's no more boost. So, it feels like about 100hp max. Something is up with the turbo, thermostat, or both... merlin390
might just be a flawed thermostat or ECT sensor (they can cause all kinds of weird things)
