shaun
what kind of rub am i looking at with an 850. i know the wheel well is slightly bigger on a 70 series? curious about price and shipping cost to 95409 (hour north of bay area). shoot me a pm. thanksryani had 224 45 17's on a titians on a 95 855 and i would have needed spacers and significant fender rolling in the front to make them fit (reliably-safely). the rear was fine untill 4 people were in the car then they rubbed too. My feeling was 225 45 17 was doable with some work and parts but i doubt you would pull off 235 40 18 without spacers and serious body work and or removal of liners. Suspension mods will also play a pretty big role here as well, so if you are commenting or looking for answers post what you are sitting on as well. So far I have PM'd most people back but if not give me till the end of the day to get everyone covered, I got a bunch of stuff coming through from Swedespeed as well. You guys obviously get priority though!

You can try, but it will require A LOT of fender mods to make it clear enough to be practical, plus on 850s, the inner fender on my 850 took quite a beating from my 225/40/18 tires until I rubbed straight through them :)

I've had every fender story go wrong with mine, and I've got several different sized wheels and tires that I've experimented with, and spacers, and just about every lowering option you can have. 225/40 is as big as you can go, and that will rub right through the liners, and bend your fenders.right now, I have 20mm spacers up front, 18x7.5" wheel, 215/35/18 tires, lowered more than any of you fools, and I am not rubbing. I had the car an inch higher last week, with 225/40 tires, and well, SoCal people know what happened to my bumper, and my fenders, and my tires.FOr you V70 people that aren't lowered much, these are a GREAT buy.
