At first I thought it would be better to wait since they have your tranny already, but what else can you do with those extra bucks in the meanwhile??? Plus your right I am getting BBK anyday now and I have my civinco to play with. Plus there are still ten other projects on the car I would like to finish that are on standstill while I am waiting for a trans.What do you guys think a 98 v70 t5 trans is worth with 111000 miles? Gioseppe Posted July 29, 2006 Report Share Posted July 29, 2006 i heard somewhere that you cant put a 5 speed auto into a 4 speed auto equipped car? has anyone acctually done it succesfully? the TCU probably doesn't like the new tranny, so you'd need the tcu from the 5 spd car. i then wonder if 99+ cars have a different tcu to communicate with me7 better. then you'd need a 98 tcu and tranny. this could very well be a big problem in little china.
