I just wear them till they disintegrate and then throw them away. I haven't washed a pair of sneakers since grade school when I wore these god-awful canvas shoes which you painted over with white powdery paint. TM850R Posted July 31, 2006 Report Share Posted July 31, 2006 Spend than 200 on your car and get a pair of cheap sneakers. Take care of the cheap sneakers and call it a day. If I bought a pair of $200 sneakers I would want to wear them all the time. If that happened the rubber soles would wear out very quickly. That is usually what wears on my shoes.
