ThaBigO Posted August 1, 2006 Report Share Posted August 1, 2006 hey guys i just got my weitecs today!!! Cant wait to install them, along with my Ipd sways bars as well. Now im going to do everything together.. OK i was just wondering for doing my Springs and shocks, which tools and parts am i going to need. i have to order my parts sometime today or tomorrow so i can get them for the weekend. Im going to be getting them from Fcp. Under there 850 Struts, Shocks, Mounts, etc... Section. Should i just get everything that they show on that diagram?? Shown here. That inculdes Bump Stop, Dust Boot, Cap, Fitting, Strut Mount, Spring Seat, Washer, Sway bar bushing. Also along with that Strut Mount Lock nut, Bolt and for the rear the Rear Spring spaceer, Rear Spring Bump Stop retaining pin, and the rear shock mount. Does that sound like all i need?? Also if you look at the page on FCP under quantity, is that how many i will need TOTAL or per side?? Jesus Posted August 1, 2006 Report Share Posted August 1, 2006 Pretty sure you can get OEM spring seats from FCP, just call and ask if its not listed on the page.I was in a hurry and bought mine from a dealership the morning of the install, cost me $95 for a pair.Also took us a few days to get the first bolt off the top of the front shocks. The Mounts and spring Seats i got from FCP were the more expensive ones. I believe the manfacutor was Sachs. So i think thats OEM. Anyone know this for sure??Anyways i got all the parts so i wouldnt need to reuse any old parts, everything will be brand new!! So i can just put the whole suspension together then just swap it out with the old one. So i think that will be good.
