TheMan5952
wouldnt that throw on an ABS/TRACS light? how trhe hell do i check it? i looked in the haynes for the car, but the haynes is really quite vague and useless. Not always, you gotta remember cars are funky sometimes. they could tie into a common resistor that goe to the speedo/ECU output and it could be going there so the ABS/TRACS system thinks everything is fine and your ECU doesn't know the difference. Only you do.Maybe try what Homer said.If not, I would suspect the ABS unit is bad. Use a heat gun to loosten the seal on the unit, you'll see the broken solder joint, just remove the old stuff and re-solder. Use a silicone sealant on the ABS unit afterwards to close it back up.
