goin to paint my grille. i have cleaned it pretty well with a cloth and some degreaser/palmolive mix. am i ready to paint now?

what type of paint should i use. im doing this myself so i dont want it to end up looking like a 4 grader and his crayons had a run-in with my car. need something effective but easy. looking for a glossy black look

thanks guys,

matt

I couldn't find PlastiDip at 2 parts stores, so i just settled for Krylon Plastic paint... so far so good, sorry for the crooked picture I had to go to work LOL and I was in a rush. I heard someone say something bad about the Krylon stuff but ehh we'll see...

krylon fusion plastic paint works pretty well

just need to layer the coats on

now, krylon CHALKBOARD paint seems to hold up real well

used it on the 850 about 1.5 years ago, only now has faint chips
