BeachRat
now, krylon CHALKBOARD paint seems to hold up real wellused it on the 850 about 1.5 years ago, only now has faint chips Glad that's working out! Do you do some board problems on your grille, too?I keed, how's it hold up against chipping?
northmiler89
i just used duplicolor auto paint. used some generic flat black for aobut 3 coats first then 3-4 more of the duplicolor. no clear. if it doesnt hold up well i will do it slightly differently next time.. mine looks sharp though. was going to leave the chrome around the outside but didnt feel like masking that too... C70drvr
I used 4 layers of rubber based paint on mine. Since January it was chip free, until the London Ontario meet. When I was drving behind Adam's (Uber) car on a gravil road, and a big chunk of rock flew up from his back tire and lodged right in the grille. Big chip.
