You just latch it on to the spring and tighten the bolt at the top until it compresses, it could take a long time without an impact gun, I did mine with an electrical one, just remember one thing with compressing springs, making a mistake can be deadly! If you dont have 100% confidence in what your doing, leave it to the professionals.

Wow how do i compress these springs. this is really hard!!! its becoming a pain in the jerk. I got a spring compressor from Advanced Auto Parts that ones that go inside the spring. This is the exact spring compressor that i got Click Here How do you use this correctly??

you got the wrong compressor

when you get the ones that go on the OUTside, you have to make sure you work both sides equally. do a little at a time, otherwise one side will compress more than the other causing you to not be able to get back to the other side.

Air ratchet = Speed

hand wrench will take FOREVER!!!

They rent tools for free? Darn I wish they opened one of those around here.

What's so hard to believe?? You leave them a deposit of about the value of the tool and you get it back when you return the tool in good condition.

If you got the wrong spring compressor, maybe you should have someone helping you who may have done this job before?
