thelostartof
i'd think aarons car might be pretty light .. last i saw it it was pretty much 94' 850T with engine and trans and that's it .. interior was 1/2 an s70 dash and a drivers seat .. no cage or exhaust just open downpipe(well muffler @ the buttom of down pipe) .... so there wasn't much weight on it

TM850R
He COULD make it lighter too from the looks of it. But that looks like its light enough within reason.4700 lbs Carson? What do you have in there? Who was it on here that weighed their car and it came in at 3400 without the spare tire and tools.
VAVolvo
Right now, I claim about 2780lbs according to the math that I have done over and over. I'm going to hit the scales in the near future to see if I'm close.
boostwagboy
What weight would be considered light for a 850? I'm just plain curious.ive seen a volvo on streetfire.net pretty much gutted with crazy engine mods weighted 2200lbsnot interior at all tho. race seats and a roll bar. im not even sure if it had a radio. Swedish Mike
I know 1300 kg without driver is possible without cutting, maybe 2600 lbs??? Rear seat and spare tire is number one to save weight, just buy a "tire in a can"./Mike

My goal is 2600lbs but I plan on keeping the electric windows, stock wind shield and back window, sun roof, at least two speakers with my cd player. The CF hood is also in the future, but hopefully by then you could find a CF trunk, I don't know.

The one layer CF hoods here weigh like a OEM hood... /Mike
