Floor Mats 10 Trunk lining 4 Spare tire & Jack 31 the numbers are approx. I did use a scale wieghing myself then wieghing me and the piece. If you are going to do that, get a car that is lighter from the start and strip it. Why would you want your road car that was a nice comfortable place to be look like that S70? PyROTech Posted August 9, 2006 Report Share Posted August 9, 2006 what type of sound stuff did you have, speakers and thats it or subs and amps? i guess youve taken care of most of it then no i ment sound deading crap, like the insulation and wire mesh over it. I left door panels and speakers, even though my speakers are blown in the back. I havent yet figured out how to remove the head rests without damaging it and the switches/wiring (they have a system that allows me to drop them). But there is something sick about a 850 sleeper road racer. As for me, comfortable cars put me to sleep. I like to drive something serious and bad @$$. A sedan will always be lighter with the same stripping.Why strip down a Volvo? Cause you got an awsome engine and tranny from start, cheaper than turbocharging a Honda and the car will stay in one piece much longer.And the sleeper thing is really funny, just tint the windows and see the looks on peoples faces.
