Texas850Turbo
Mine's at 10 inches mercury idling in drive and with A/C on.....which is a lot of the time....isn't that bad cuz that shows the engine is working a lot harder than it should? sion
What does it read in neutral with the A/C off?The reading you have noted is with the engine under load - eg. in gear & with the A/C compressor also loading up the engine. James100
Autometer 3301 vacuum/boost gauge showing vacuum at 21 to 21.5 at idle in park and neutral in an autometer cup on the steering column. Just experimenting with location of the gauge. Probably will put it in a triple pod eventually. It is sitting there attached with velcro. You can watch it very well in this location. Got it working 1 week ago thanks to information from volvospeed. At Idle in parkSitting on steering column

James100
Man do I need to fix my vacuum leak. Darn pesky elbows...Another place to check. This is an old pic of my vacuum tree before I cleaned up someones bad work with new elbows. But in this pic look where the oetiker clamps are circled in yellow. Both those clamps were loose and the one on the tree was very loose. The thing is they looked fine when you looked at them but moved when you touched them. They are gone now with American style clamps in their place.
