I told the guy to make an offer on my 98 S70M NA since I'm thinking of selling it. He looked at pictures and asked for an email copy of the clear title which I sent him. He offered and I agreed on a price which he agreed to pay in cash. Now he says he wants to send me a bill of sale and after I send him the title then he'll send a transport to pick the car up with a check for me. RIGHT!!! I wasn't born yesterday and told him to bring caah or I would even bring the car to him for cash, or forget it. I suggested he wouldn't do the same deal with me if it were going the opposite way and all of a sudden he says just drop the deal.Exactly what I did. I suspect he's looking for someone who is desperate to sell and willing to bite.BE WARNED......title IS ownership. I don't know the guy and when he wasn't interested in handing cash for title even if I brought the car to him....not good business. DANGER WILL ROBINSON. So maybe you were born yesterday.I've bought and sold alot of cars and I've heard and seen people screwed for doing stupid deals. I think cash on the barrelhead is good business. By the way, would you be interested in helping me claim a $7 million dollar esteate of my poor dead wife who was the deposed finance minister of Nigeria? If so just send me your SS# and bank account info and I'll make sure you get a 3 million dollar cut for your efforts!!!The guy may be legit but I don't do business that way. I wouldn't do business that way either. Pavel, though a stand-up guy, can't take anything worth thousands of dollars off my hands unless I have thousands of dollars from him first.That goes for anyone on VolvoSpeed except Grant.
