scoober
XC's scream 'tune me"! louder than any other volvos I dont think you are only limited to stage 0, dual exhaust, and a ECU tune. You can install a bigger turbo (16T) and a downpipe LIKE THIS, and higher flow injectors, maybe an aquamist. Then you can get a ECU tune appropriated for the bigger turbo, and install some stiffer suspension. Will it be as quick and agile as a Subaru...i have no idea, but it will be more fun than stock.i hear nothing but good stuff about that guy. I guess I should explain my position a little bit more... I'm going to keep the tune on the v70xc mild in order to maintain it as a daily driver, one that can operate well in heavy snow and on dirt roads. I want to keep the suspension stock for those reasons too, and I feel trying to max out the power on stock suspension is moving in the wrong direction.I'm not looking to replicate my old trusty (and really sweet handling) Subaru Forester with this one, but it will get my feet wet so to speak and get me ready for a future 855 T5 project. After ditching a Saab as my last driver, I am missing having a ton of power going senselessly to only the front wheels. As far as the R bumper goes... don't worry, I like my rides to maintain a factory look, and an R front bumper with the rest of the XC trim doesn't really fit that bill (to me, at least). I'm with you on the stock suspension, since you are goign to use it for what it was initially designed to do. However, there is nothing with putting a bigger turbo on there...it will just add $300 (used turbo) to the package of doing the ECU tuning. Its really your call, though.WE NEED PICS :)
