crazykn
Are you sure you have a seperate amplifier? If not...http://volvospeed.com/vs_forum/Factory-6-P...eup-t39067.htmlI'm pretty sure the old and new Volvo HUs still have the same plug.

fsrenduro
crazykn,I tried PMing you but I don't think it went through. Do you, or anyone, know if the 6 pin DIN plug is the same for amplified radios. My hu-613 is internally amplified so would the L/R pinouts still be line level (RCA) or speaker level?I also saw you topic on the 6 pin DIN plug making. What are the other two pinouts that aren't labeled in your picture (rear L/R??). I think the pa-200 and pa-300 amps hook up with a 6 pin DIN but also have an adapter to hook back up to the speaker wire. Anyone know where I can get, or a way to make, that. I am a little confused on why you want to access the factory amp?? If you are adding a sub you will need an aftermarket amp and then you just have to add a High Low adapter on the factory harness of the stero. Run the RCA, power ground and rem and its doneVick
