MattM Posted August 12, 2006 Report Share Posted August 12, 2006 Greetings,I haven't been on the site in a few months now and wanted to say hello. I've had alot going on recently and unfortunately haven't had much free time. My Grandmother passed away in June and I have spent most weekends driving down to WV to help the family settle the estate, move her belongings, etc. In addition I finished my tour in the military and now am officially a civilian . The new job is great but im out of the house from 7am-8pm every day which gets a little tiring.The C70 project is moving along and im hoping to have the car at the fabricators shop in the upcoming weeks to have the new turbo manifold and intercooler made. I ended up going with a Southbend clutch for the car and have been assured by Andy@Southbend that it will work fine with the dual mass flywheel. Im hoping this will provide a decent alternative to the SPEC clutches as a few members have had problems with them. I also ended up replacing the S70 with a '92 Sebring Silver NSX. I haven't had too much time to play with it but it has made a few of the 8 hour drives down to WV very enjoyable. I don't have many plans for the car, just wheels, suspension and a good sterero. Its definitely not as fast in a straight line as the C but so far I have been extremely impressed with the handling. I also would like to take this opportunity to publicly apologize to Nick for the delay in shipping out the wheels he purchased. It took me a long time to get them to him and he was very understanding the entire time, however this was still unacceptable on my part. We have spoken privately but I also want to publicly state that I am extremely sorry for everything. Well, I think that is enough random babble for one post. I missed coming on here and I hope I get a chance to get together with all the local NE guys sometime soon. I was actually just talking about you about a week ago w/ Rob saying we missed having you two around at our meets and were concerned with what happened to you.Sorry to hear about your grandma.
