Serge
While this may look good, there are flaws (cracks from where the fiberglass didn't hold well, and while they were filled in, still surfaced after painting). I also want to redo the paint a bit. So I will need to do another attempt later on (basically means the 6 hours I spent sanding this is wasted). But for now this works.Pre paint.Painted.The paint matches the gloss of the stock dash, as well as the color. It's a very nice match.

Guest LiquidKernel @ Gf's House
good, only two more years left until it's done. you're making progress Hey hey it's done! The screen is pretty much done and sitting in the car. The texture and color match of the paint is PERFECT. I am actually very impressed... the only part that bothers me is that the fiberglass holding the two halves together cracked (last time I use fiberglass bondo... the part that I used JB Weld on held PERFECTLY..). Meaning I have to rip it all apart, sand it again, glue it all together, bondo it, sand it and paint it.
HPTDoh
Yep.. I had the pink cracks showing through the black paint from Bondo too .Nice work though!
Serge
Yep.. I had the pink cracks showing through the black paint from Bondo too .Nice work though!Well, mine didn't crack through the pink bondo. The fiberglass bondo that hols the LCD bezel and deck bezel together didn't hold.
