MadeInJapan
Well, I'm not finding much. I do see a whole bunch of the mirror covers with turn signal lights on them for about $150 for the pair (with wiring, either black, white or chrome...I guess you paint the white ones):http://page4.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/d64625948
MadeInJapan
Okay, finally found the 850/first 70 series folding mirrors (also heated). They are $250 each side (and they specify for right hand driven vehicle- In Japan the steering wheel is on the right). Don't know if this will be a problem or not. Anyway, here is a vendor. My understanding is that this is about the going rate for these: http://www.toughcrew.com/guide/850V70/10.htmlIf anyone wants to risk it and wants to buy these, I'll ask my friend in Japan to check out the specifics. Just PM me or email me.

exexpat
I use these every day on my ML going into our narrow garage doors. Wow, they are expensive though for P1 :(
MadeInJapan
Yeah, but I'm going to look for a good used source....we'll see if I get lucky and find a decent source for us all.
Sadude
Hey guys...I think you can get more info over on swedespeed.com under the S70 section. From what i understand the regular 850/70 series cars are not wired for this, only the japanese version of our cars. If you wanna do it then you have to get a whole new internal harnesss.it doesn't matter about right hand vs left hand driving cause you just swap the mirrors out.http://forums.swedespeed.com/zerothread?id=11398
maiku
it can't be THAT hard to wire up

Matchbox22
Shouldn't these things be kinda cheap, remember in Japan the car have to be trashed after a few years. Thats how all the honda/mitsu guys get their jdm stuff. So all we need to get a japanese importer of parts to find these mirrors for us, must be in the same junk yard w/Honda and what not? MadeInJapan
it can't be THAT hard to wire upThat's what I'm thinking. Seems all you would need is power and ground and the switch between one of the wires.
Guest Guest
I need to get me some of these for my S60. Parking spaces here in the England are quite tight and I'm forever having to manually fold my mirrors in so this would be so cool.I've emailed Boston Volvo and will await their response!I don't think I can order these in the UK but I'll pop into my dealer in the next few days and ask them. MadeInJapan
They are U.S.A. spec now, but I understand that when you hook up VIDA to it, it's international and will find your hardware you installed....sort of like plug & play Windows...so, if they don't have them in the U.K., and you can get John to send them to you there, your Volvo dealer should be able to hook ya up with the software. I'm waiting on mine...sort of thought they would be here by now.
