RWagin
So I sold the wagon, miss it terribly actually, and I now have a Saab which I like. I think I like the Saab because it is standard shift and has 250HP, naturally. I was searching around and found a 1998 S70 T5M Green/beige 15 minutes from my office and think the Saab may have to go...I have probably had the Saab for 3 weeks and only changed the oil. Saab has 32K (full warranty), Volvo has 92K, damn decisions. I know what board I am on and expect a certain reaction from you all, just sharing my dilemma with my fellow VSers

PyROTech
this doesnt make any sense, you purchase a car and then buy another one, you would be loosing money from the whole thing. Buy the volvo and keep the saab, you can get low rate on the purchase and sit on both to see what you think.
Swedish Mike
Just sell the Saab, the tranny will break next week. Hate them.../Mike

There is a 944 Turbo on the same lot as the Volvo, the two cars combined are close to what I could sell the Saab for....

JoshV70
Sell the Saab. Pick up a 240 on the cheap side, build it, and still have some money left over.
Swedish Mike
The best thing is that Saab guys need 450 hp to beat a 300 hp Volvo, that a fact from all these years of street and drag racing. /Mike

Swedish Mike
what do you not like about the Saab?that was the 900 crisis, wasnt it?All Saab´s, they said it would stop with the 9-5 but no, still problems. The most common Saab problem in Saab shops here.I don´t like the crappy solutions of everything, they love to make it hard for the mechanics. And the Saab heads are bad, you need to spend a lot of cash to make them flow but on the other hand they got strong blocks/internals on the older ones. The big hp 9-5´s use 9000 blocks cause the new GM ones are too weak./Mike
