A/f Gauge After Install Question

I just installed my narrowband a/f gauge ( i know, i know ) :)... anyways.... i was told to hook up the black or the green wire coming off the 4 wire o2 sensor. i hooked up the black. my gauge after starting the car it stays pegged on the rich side then after a few minutes it starts to fluctuate a little between the far right side of stoitch to rich.

Is my gauge hooked up properly and this is how it should work ? should i have gone with the green wire instead ?ive read where people said the narrowbands will act like a light show while driving mine is jumping around just a little. could i have a bad o2 sensor ??

what do you guys think ?? anyone have a narrowband and how does yours act ??

torque... after warming up it doesnt bounce all the way from lean to rich. only from stoich to rich ?? while driving when i let off the gas it goes barely into stoich and soon as i give it a little pedal it pegs out on the rich. while holding constant speed it goes from rich to stoich, never to lean...

nope... never to lean no matter if im just crusing, wot, whatever. never to lean. do i have it hooked up to the wrong wire ? i have it hooked up to my black wire coming out of the o2 sensor. ive heard it shoud be hooked to black and ive heard it should be hooked to green. i went with the black wire. Could i possibly have a bad o2 sensor ?

Your 02 sensor doesnt start working until your car warms up to a certain temp. I cant remember all the details on it right now but there is a lot of information explaining this. How many miles on your front O2 sensor. I would think its good if you do not have a CEL on

james.. i dont know how many miles, ive only had the car a couple of months. i know the previous owner said it probably needs a new one. i do know i need to tune her up ( plugs, wires, cap, rotor ) i dont have a CEL light though. i just think its kinda weird the guage only goes from stoitch to full rich. i wasnt sure if i maybe hooked it up wrong or the o2 is bad.

im gonna pull the codes and see if anything shows up....
