Adam Franke
Capacitor. This oughta do ya: http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/products/pr...mp;locale=en_USIt's the most basic of capacitors. Find ones with digital volt readouts, quickconnects, etc. As far as I know, you'll only need about a farad for that setup.

Spoony
Technically my lights in my S70 are dimming pretty badly and I plan on getting one but it's not THAT big of a deal. If your lights dim when the bass is high, cops will think you're blinking your lights and can pull you over. It's either you say you were playing your music too high (which they don't like) or tell them you were warning another driver that a cop was ahead (which they hate). Just get a cap.And thanks Pras, it was bugging me too.

JHEIII874T5M
Didn't have on my 850 that I was running 2 12"s on an 800x2 amp on... the lights dimmed. In the S70 I have 3 12"s running one 1000x2 and one 800x2 along with a 2nd yellow top in the trunk. Lights in the s70 don't dim, doesn't matter how hard it's bumping. PS Salem is to thank for the cap. :P
Owned
Caps arn't the best solution to dimming lights. Caps arn't the best solution to any problem. They're not really made to fix problems. If your lights are dimming, a cap may help (usually will, as the Volvo alts are fairly strong), but the real issue is either a lack of available power or a lack of ability to move available power. Caps are great for keeping constant power to your amps, though, as they absorb peaks and fill in vallys.IMO a 1F cap is a good addition to most any system. Most "bottle" or "can" style 1 farads are made by the same companies and various audio companies basically buy them and slap their own label on them. That is why they all look the same. You want either gold or nickle terminals. Nickle is superior to gold, but most companies use gold. LED read out is really up to you. It's just eye candy, more or less. You should expect to spend around $100, just as a rough figure.
psy
I would suggest the cap I have the same subs with an amp more or less of the same power along with another 2 channel camp and under full load you'll see the difference. took me a bit to also figure out why I kept losing alternators and batteries till I found out my cap wasn't holding the charge anymore got a new one problem solved. so I recommend it.
