Diy Tint Job, Whatcha Think

You saved "a lot of money?" $60? Sorry, but how long did you spend on that job to save $60?

who cares how long he spent doing it. no one is against him for spending time working on his car, as far as i know. dont try and jump on the hater bandwagon without knowing anything to begin with.

the only grievance any of us have is that professional tinting, even though it's more expensive, seems to be a better route to some of us and we tried to let him know why we thought that. then all the people who have to make sure everyone knows how "DIY" they are started denying that professional joints do anything better and it got out of hand. i myself, and im sure 95% of the VS community is along with me, support this guy for doing something himself. i'm glad he got a learning experience out of it and i really hope the tint lasts as long as a professional job, but if it doesnt then who gives a shit, re-do it or get a pro to do it. no sleep lost.

now lets end this retard-fest once and for all. even though professional tint may be easier and come with a warranty, this guy did a great job doing it himself and i'm positive that if the tint goes bad in the future, he wont have any trouble putting new tint up because he learned how to do it the first time. this dude posted up something he was proud off and now we all look like assholes and never congratulated him on a job well done.

Good Job on the tint. Props to you for doing a professional job - yourself.

Anyone can pay someone else to do it. Most people can do a professional job if they want to. I did. Mine looks good, and I've had people ask me who did it because they thought it looked great. It boils down to - are you willing to do the job? There are lots of websites to show you how. You can buy the "GOOD" tint - anyone can.

Mine is 20%. It is not too dark. If I get pulled over, I'll put my window all the way down before he gets there, just in case. I considered the 35%, but I'm glad I went with 20.

Any questions, just email me. Never mind all the people here discouraging you.

If you have some good links, I'm interested. I know it's gonna cost me a lot more over here

(probably NY prices plus.) There are many excellent quality materials available and I'm convinced

that with time and patience I can save well over 100$ and use a top quality foil.

A lifetime garantee is only good if you don't switch vehicles and let's face it most people don't

own their cars for more than 10 yrs. if that anyway. I love nothing more than doing it as

well or better than "the pros," saving money, and telling the other colleagues that I did it myself.
