New Volvo Purchase Deal For Next Week Or So

FYI: I have stumbled on what seems to be a great deal on a new 2007 XC70. Since the close-out of the left-over 2006's went so well, Ford has apparently decided to keep the pipeline moving by offering a $9,000. "incentive" on teh just arriving 2007XC's. This is an "alternative lease" incentive, but seems to work just like any other discount so long as you lease the car first and then exercise the purchase option to buy the at the end. If you don't buy, it is still a huge discount on the lease price. Apparently runs until the end of the month only, and little or no advertising around here. This is separate from whatever discount from list you negotiate separately. I confirmed that it is real with a contact at Ford in Detroit, and can't find any hooks when I run the numbers. Hre, the lease is with a good bank, at 5% with a good residual based on about 45% of list and nominal fees. The discount and the incentive come right off theh amount being amortized over the lease. Unless I find a hidden flaw, we will pick up ours next Tuesday.

Where can I find the details?
