Justin R32
I went to purchase some new rotors online and every site has a different size they say will fit my 98 V70R AWD.I'm looking to replace my stock rotors with a nice looking Cross Drilled rotor. Zimmerman cross-drilled rotors look nice. I'm just doing pads and rotors, so I don't think I want to upgrade calips, etc.... (trying to keep it cheap, slight upgrade)Some sites say the fronts a 302mm, some say they aren't.....What size came stock on a 98 V70R AWD? (front and rear) Where is the cheapest place to purchase? leurven
Pretty sure you have 280mm fronts. Not sure on rear (standard 98 AWD size). Check against the size of your wheel. If you are running 16s with 280s you will have a big gap. If 302s you will have almost no gap.

Justin R32
awesom, thanks...I keep reading about cross drilled rotors prone to warping.I have a set of Zimm cross-drilled on my BMW and have had no issues with warping. Should I stay away from cross-drilled? ....But, they look so cool!OEM Pads are eXpen$ive !!

leurven
My slotted rotors keep the dust down tremendously. The pads are Mintex I think too.
prasamin
buy some 00R brakes and put them on.
Big Will
If he's running the stock 16s, there's no issue with 302 mm brakes? Is it simply that one would not be able to put 15 inch steel rims on for winter driving with the bigger brakes?
Justin R32
I decided against the 302 upgrade. Someday I'll do a real big brake upgrade, so I want to keep this cheap.I went with 4 Zimmerman x/d/s rotors 280mm$215 for the full setDRT EbAY storeI want to get OEM pads, but where is the cheapest place to get them online?
