You can try to be helpful for once instead of just shooting down everyones comments on anything.I asked before him too, since he is going to be putting the intake and throttle body on, I just don't see why not get the valve cover too, even though it's not at all connected to the other two pieces and would probably be a bit more work... Evil E Posted August 29, 2006 Report Share Posted August 29, 2006 I think he was getting at the fact (which not everybody knows) that the valve-cover, cams, and head are all matched pieces, that can have variances in machining, thus creating an opportunity for individual pieces to not match. Which in all honesty is probably going to happen at the same time as my motor build. Have the machinist match everything perfectly, no problems that way hopefully.
