Über855R Posted September 1, 2006 Report Share Posted September 1, 2006 Well I went to visit my car today and it is a little closer to being finished.That was two days agoand this is now, looks sweet and matches the intercooler plumbing pretty well, if only I had put on the polished valve cover it would look so sick.I am enjoying the new additions to the engine bay and am excited to see how the bored TB works out. For probe owners they worked great especially when pushing the envelope of hp. The probe's stock tranny could only hold about 260hp before exploding. And the automatics were even less in stock form. If it breaks I am just going to continue to blow up stockers for eternity, there is no way I am paying for that build again if its no good.intercooler piping ceramic coated or just polished? hard to tellIt's a chromax powder coat, looks nice and actually matches the polished aluminum look really well. They said it is even a polishable finish so I could polish it up to really match perfect. The piping is actually aluminized steel and stainless mixed, welded together and ground down on the seams. I had my exhaust guy build it for me and took it to the local powder coating place. Half of the plumbing is my RIP kit and just added on to it to complete the kit plus a couple of extra samco silicone connectors.what tuning are you running?Civinco is underneath that polished fuel rail cover and is almost done being installed as well.
