Phil94850
i recently tuned up my car and it runs strong thru all rpm ranges now and i installed a MBC and gauge. my problem is it still will only boost to about 10 psi mainly about 8 or 9 psi. i can play with the MBC with it turned all the way up the car will spike a little over 10 then drop off to about 7 or 8psi. if i back off on the MBC it will hold between 8 & 10 psi. my question is... this is one of those cheap MBC's off ebay and do u guys think thats my problem or maybe something else ? ive checked vac. lines and such. cant find any problems there. i tried switching the hoses going to the MBC so i know ive got it hooked up correctly. what do u guys think ? RussB
you keep asking this same question there is a very good chance that the MBC can only hold 10 PSI, due to the spring rate. The drop-off can be due to many things...leaking boost/bad turbo hoses and/or vacuum lines, or a restricted exhaust.

POOKDIZZLE
Check ALL YOUR LINES and make sure you do not have a leak anywhere; when this is done if the MBC still doesn't show any improvements get another one and try it again. ;)
