Some of you may know that I have been driving around a green 850 turbo that I bought off Greenchunks. I have hated that car since I got it but have appreciated have something to roll while my black car is in the shop. Now the green car has been traded in and we've got something a little nicer for me to sport while my car is in the shop.

What do you guys think? And what should we upgrade first on this bad boy?

I think you should trade it in for a different colored V70R, cause I already have a black one! :P

Really though, I'd say make sure everything is kosher stage 0 wise as well as the AWD system being in perfect shape, and try and keep it that way by watching the angle gear fluid and tire wear. Than go to town on it with ECU/exhaust+down pipe/etc.

As far as suspension, Kaplhenke is devleloping a coilover setup for the AWD cars. Wait for that, and do other suspension mods as well and the car will handle awesome with the AWD.

What is going on with your other black car in the shop and what kind of car is that?

This R looks good. First upgrade - new camera? Definately do stage 0 stuff first and AWD is definately a weak spot on these cars.

Ben, sorry to ask this, but how hard is it to rig up a car for hand controls? I'm just curious since you have quote the stable of cars that always seems to be changing :)

Hand controls are suprisingly easy to install. I have a set in the green car now that is temporary, I put them in so many vehicles I call them the slutty hand controls. Recently had them installed in a 07 tahoe for a few days. Definitaly easier to install the hand controls than to crawl into the darn tahoe. This car is actually my dads but since we live together it is our stable. Now we have 3 Volvos My '97 850 R My dads '99 V70 R and his '62 P1800. I am so glad to see the '94 850 turbo leaving for good. Plus there are a couple of bikes around an Aprillia Falco and Triumph daytona for the Euro trifecta. When I get my car in a good position I plan on starting to modify one of the bikes with hand controls and some riding aids so I can get on two wheels again.
