pm200054
Did some smokin’ last night. An EVO got caught up in the dust. The guy claimed an MBC and a 3-inch exhaust. His front fascia wasn’t stock. I think he may have been fudging the truth. He said that his wife’s GLT wasn’t nearly that fast. Unexpected this was… and unfortunate. turbor850
love that R wagon but unfortunately the evo driver sucks at drivingwell not that he sucks, but he didn't even launch the car, the V70R on the other hand did, looked like they were getting close by the end of the track, hate to say it, but the EVO would have probably beaten the V70R if he launched like he should have

C70drvr
Terrible start for both cars. Serious bog. V70R was still quite quick though, it's close. But daaaayum did that wagon ever look sexy. B)
pm200054
Niiiice. What'd you run? That run was a 9.330 @ 77.12, .147 light, 2.206 60'. I also ran a 9.386 that night, x3, once against him. He got me on that one. He also took me when I turned a 9.355. Those were the only runs he made last night. Meanwhile I was playing the part of mustang killer all night. Best time of the night was a 9.267. Best I have done so far was a 9.246, but that was before the car was broken in. I am looking forward to November!

pm200054
Terrible start for both cars. Serious bog.I thought the 2.206 60’ wasn’t a bad launch. I didn’t see your best 60’ posted on the list. How are you doing? Uh-yeah, it’s an 1/8th mile. The video seems to be pretty real-time. If you notice, we start at 26 seconds into it, and the win light comes on at 35 seconds. The Sunoco is a magnet that was available at gas stations as part of a promotion, if the prize patrol saw you gassing up with the magnet on, you got gas for life or some such. I took statistics, I wasn’t hopeful. The magnet originally had a blue rectangular background and declared itself the official gas of NASCAR. I took a razor blade to it and removed the background. -mk

TorqueSteer
Wow nice car! but, I dont understand where you are "smoking" an EVo, he barely launched, and to me it looked like he started pulling you nasty at the end of the 1/8 when he was in 3rd. For an automatic, it is doing OK. Smoking might be slightly over ambitious, but I still got him… B)
