boostwagboy
two nights ago i beat a WRX with a cat back exhaust. im all stock i have a cone filter only. we raced from about a 20mph roll and if nebody here knos when u oput your atuomatic is SPORT mode that thing will downshift to first so when you nail it at about 25. so yea at about 40mph i was clearly ahead and by about 90 i was a car and a half. i thought this was good considering his car sotck puts out more hp than mine. but my extra cylinder got the torque to beat him.i was so pumped, thanks guysmatt

Meek
But still, how was that possible? No offense, that is sweet, but hard to believe.~MikeThere weren't WRX's in the states in 2000 unless they were imported, which probably one or none were. Good kill against a POS Impreza RS <_<

Meek
The first real WRX's imported by Subaru was in 2002 (late 2001). I know because I didn't wait for one , and instead bought a Jetta Wolfsburg 1.8T instead in Summer 01 because I didn't want a POS RS 2.5. Maybe he has a really bad WRX engine swap in his RS?There were WRX's on Gran Turismo though back in 2000 Turbo oder Nichts!
Meek
Or he has an 02 and you weren't listening or he doesn't know what he is driving? You are in the US, right? Not Japan or Europe where they have been cool all along in WRX's, right?Goofy ass Matthew Perry didn't know his BMW was called a Z8, but then also naively thought it could beat a Gemballa 996 TT
