BtownVolvo
question: if i were to clay bar and do a 3 step wax.....do i clay bar first then do the 3 step. or do the first step then clay? etc....by the way, its the mothers 3 step waxClay first. Claybar takes EVERYTHING off the paint; strips wax, removes tree sap and tar, bugs, etc. So it'll take off the first step of the wax just as easy. And David, It's AWESOME to have you on the boards. You're articles are very very helpful and I use them frequently.

Think of it this way...why would you seal in dirt and other objects when you can remove them all?
exexpat
I just used Meguiars #1 paint cleaner, followed by #2 polish and finally Gold Class wax applied with my orbital buffer. Mmmm, jesus the C70 and ML look good!
