BeachRat
Yep, normal MBC will help, but an EBC will correct for the fade Don't waste your time on a MBC if you are planning on an EBC in the end, I had my manual one for all of 3 weeks...I have an MBC, turned that little f*cker up to 17PSI. Mike mentioned the same thing about the exhaust housing, so I might go with that before going to an EBC.
Volvoson
Even straights fade, my 18T did back with an MBC...Compare before/after EBC, it's the green line on each graph:before with MBC at 17psi / after with EBC at 18psi

BeachRat
no, fading 7 psi isn't normal...Didn't think so, we'll see if a straight/angled housing fixes it. I'm drooling over this right now:PIT BCU+It even comes with a built-in turbo timer!

Plus, I didn't want to get an R manifold just to drill into it for EGR since I hope to eliminate that in the next few months all together.
TorqueSteer
Uh oh is there something special u have to do to fit an R manifold on a 95 car for the EGR? Nope, I skipped that step, too lazy + cheap at the time to do it.
