Mesoam
Ok my dad is such an idiot. I have a mint JVC "el-kameleon" CD/MP3 player that i don't want in my 850 and i am giving it to him but instead he wants this old 240 radio from the junk yard because it has a tape player. Any way he needs to DE-code the harness to know what each wire is for but i don't think its the same as the newer 850 hu's. Any help would be appreciated. Here's a picthe color wires are as follows-grey-whitegreen-mainly blue w/ white stripe-mainly white w/ blue stripe-blue-light blue-yellow-brown-black (ground i assume)

Veneficus
You could do what I did with my old hu that was unlabled. First start out by finding your + and - charges with a level meter until you get a solid 12v signal. After that you can identify the speaker channels by setting your sound stage (you'll know when it sounds right, trust me). After doing that just attach your antenna (not sure if 240s have power antennas) and your acc (if 240s have this function). ---BrianP.S. I've been searching for 240 diagrams... if I find one I'll post it.
