Matts 850 GLT
I think its gone walkabout...looked on the side of the radiator and on the airfilter box and nothing there. So I traced the vacuum hoses from the throttle body and there are two (black) under the tb that go under the front drivers side fender (near the wheel), this I think is the charcoal canister but no valve. The other two hoses (yellow) go to the fpr and the other the MAP sensor on top of the radiator. So where it be?Car is a 95 2.4 10v. No codes and it runs good but what are the other valve locations?ThanksMatt
MadeInJapan
There is no MAF sensor on the radiator. That, most likely is the evap valve/sensor you're looking for. The MAF is between the airbox and the throttle body (or turbo if you have one). Download the '95 850 service manual found on this site...it has all that info in it with diagrams, etc.
Matts 850 GLT
Thanks, it might be the evap but it looks like the vacuum hose goes into a relay.Quite odd me thinks, motor is a 10v and has different ignition/fuel system.Perhaps has a different evap set up?Matt

There should be a hose inlet and an outlet from it. As far as I know all of our FWD's have this type of set-up. The '01's and newer are a bit differently shaped and sit lower on the radiator fan shrowd than our 70 series and 850's.
Matts 850 GLT
Hmm. This is getting interesting.I remember on the 93 the evap valve having two hoses with an electrical connecter to power up the valve. But this just looks like one large relay with only one vacuum hose and a large electrical connector with 6 pin plug.I will try and get a picture for you, could be related to a different market or something.ThanksMatt
