Tommy.
One big advantage of having a small garage that you park your car in every night is that you're forced to keep it tidy and somewhat organized.this is exactly like my garage. Very slim so tidyness is a must. I would have done something similar with insulation but I'm renting the house so that's just a waste of my time at this point. Nice space! matt b
It's not too terribly exciting - just my garage. It's coming along nicely though. When we bought the house the garage was very bare - no insulation, no sheetrock, etc. very dark and with lots of terrible home made shelving. I tore all that stuff out, insulated the walls, sheetrocked it and painted it a nice bright white. I also rigged up some temporary lighting and even doing that really helped make the place usable. The main workbench area needs a little fine tuning but it's slowly morphing into a very nice workspace for both bike stuff and car stuff. It looks generally like this right now (except I didn't have the hose reel mounted yet in this pic), but those H&R boxes, Volvo boxes and the giant Heico box are all out of there now. Oh and the workbench is clean now too. One big advantage of having a small garage that you park your car in every night is that you're forced to keep it tidy and somewhat organized.Glad to see I'm not the only who hangs art in his garage. Timbo Slice
At least your garage smells of rustic heritage. That's pretty neat.

BurgerBob
Pat you see today's ride?Dude - what was it, about 5500ft of climbing in 50 miles? You're a monster.I did about 61 miles and climbed 750ft. What's the wind like up there? I was fighting 15-20mph wind most of my day - it's the only thing that makes up for the lack of climbing around here.
flyfishing3
The wind was actually fairly bad. It was blowing out of the SE which is not normal. It was a head wind the whole way. Im taking the enves off for rest of winter. The trees are bare now and the wind feels stronger with nothing to break it up im slow, but I can grind with the best of them.
matt b
better than working in the back yard which is my current "shop"...I'd feel for you if your location was accurate. You bitching about the weather holds as much water as me complaining about a cloudy day.
Mesoam
i wasn't complaining about the weather...more about working on a bike stand in the back yard is not the easiest especially when you drop little bolts!

Cold= no issue, hot=no issue. wind= depends, rain= issue. I hit a puddle so deep my feet were in it on the downstroke. Glad I've got rain shoes!
