leurven Posted October 13, 2006 Report Share Posted October 13, 2006 Ok so I am setting up a group buy for European speedos from the UK that show mph up to either 155 or 160. For the 850 there are two types as far as I know, one for the cars that have the speed sensor on the transmissions (they go up to 155mph - '95 and before) and one for the cars that have the speed sensor on the wheels (up to 160mph - '96 and '97 models). You will need to specify which one you want. I am also trying to get the S/V/70 speedos that go up to 160mph - no word yet on whether I can get the R version or not but I am trying.This is currently just a feeler but I need to know a general amount so I can find out how much I can get them for in bulk. Please start a list in the usual fashion if you would be interested in one. The price I am hoping is going to be below $100 but at this time I am just not certain so don't hold me to it. That price would not include shipping within the US either. Putting your name here does not obligate you to purchase one - this is just to gauge interest.CJ has the 155mph speedo and you can view that in Show Room. Like a royale with cheese.It's not just the litres, the gallons are in imperial gallons not US gallons. The trip computer did not come with it. I have a UK 160mph (260 kilometers on the inner scale) speedo in my 98 V-70R and let me tell you it is not cheap!! I love it though!!! The Continental (EU) speedometers are in kilometers and can be programmed to work in the US instruments but they have no miles scale on the inside. None of the speedos will come with the trip computer except possibly the s/v/70 ones.Again, price is not certain yet either. I am going to buy one for my car to test out first.
