Whole Lap Of The Nürburgring

It requires a lot of investment to have a quick car around Nurburgring...

But you can have fun there with almost every car although it needs brakes and tires...

I´ve been there with an Alfa Romeo 147 Diesel(the lap)...

... what a diference to my 854 R...

From what I've heard the fastest guys around the ring are people with dedicated cars that are beat to crap, VW golfs etc....but they handle decent and have fair grunt-weight(for the money), but they've done it enough times that they know the lines through the really technical bits.

I went there last winter, but I was only able to go through the museum. Still amazing, but I'd like to make it during the summer when the track is open and if all else fails, take the taxi around.

i would totally pay 16 euros to lap the nurburgring with my car, but i'm afraid she might not be able to take it =(

specially the brakes, shocks and tires

Depends on the intensity of your lap, if you choose to do a clean and fun lap there shouldn´t be any problem.

Nurburgring is a very demanding circuit, that´s why it is used by car manufacturers to test their products...

VW Golf MkII GTI are chosen because of their reliability(cheap to run) and because they are fun to drive. They cannot come close to the fastest because of their poor aerodynamics, remember this is an important issue in the ring, where any car comes close to speeds around 120 mph.(even in 150hp cars...) ;)

I would recommend a visit to this website(lots of useful information for newbies):
