It's been doing this ever since i installed the VDO boost gauge. everytime i shift gears, the rpm's shoot up a bit and sometimes, it sticks and the car accelerates on it's own with my foot NOT on the pedal. when i disengage the clutch, the RPM's shoot up to about 4K and stay there for a bit. TSWisla Posted October 24, 2006 Report Share Posted October 24, 2006 You may have looked already but, check to make sure you do not have the vacuum wire wrapped up somewhere in there.
