trance42 Posted November 1, 2006 Author Report Share Posted November 1, 2006 i ripped both the engine and transaxle out the top. i dont have a lift to drop the subframe and it makes it easier to do a timing belt at the same timeYou dont have to have a lift to take the trans out of the bottom. I have taken the motor and tranny out of the top before also. It seems to me that taking the trans out of the bottom w/ jacks and jack stands is more of a PITA than just taking the motor and trans out at once.
