Geevs
Looking at this 4-channel amps as it selling new for a hundred bux in ebay. Are these decent amps to drive some 5.25 components and a JL 12W0? I understand Che'Admin is running the higher-end Mean Machine series.
CAPT_BLOTTO
you want to run 2 5.25 speakers AND a jl sub off the same amp at the same time?say goodbye to your speakers.

Why would it blow out the speakers? The lower rated amp is 2/3/4 channel. The 5.25 speakers are rated at 125wrms. 12w0 is rated at 125wrms as well. Ivanfbi
what are those speakers that have 125w rms? you sure it's not peak power rating? I would get the higher model amp and turn the gains down.
maiku
you'll need more wattage if you're running your w0 and 4 speakers off that amp
Owned
The Super Sport SS 100.4 would be great if your comp set is a 2 ohm set. You'll under-power them a bit if they're 4 ohm. If the comp set is 2 ohm, and the W0 is 4 ohm, you can bridge the two rears for your sub and run each front chan to each x-over. Done deal, it will sound nice. If the comp set is 4 ohm and you have a 8 or 12 ohm W0, it won't be the greatest setup, but will work, technically. If both are 4 ohm it will be a decent setup. what are those speakers that have 125w rms? you sure it's not peak power rating? 125 RMS is not unheard of for a 2-way comp set. I've seen 150 RMS 5.25 sets before. I know one of CDT's 3-way comp sets is almost 200 RMS. you'll need more wattage if you're running your w0 and 4 speakers off that amp He said he's only running the comp set and sub... I was skeptical too about the 125w rms 250w max rating but at C$50 a pair brand new I got 2 pairs. Despite the "RCA" brand, they look well-made and sound decent altho they are currently running off the stock 50x4w R amp. The 12w0 is 4 ohms.As owned sorta suggested, I'm planning to run the 4 5.25 comps in parallel off the front channels and the single 12w0-4 off the bridged rear channels. Will this work? Two 4 ohm comp sets would give the amp a 2 ohm load. This would work.

PharmD
Probably not going to be able to do 2 5.25's and a sub off the SAME amp, 4 channel or whatever the case may be.
