Texas850Turbo
No, all you'd need is to have your ECU reflashed by a reputable company.

BOOSTPHREAK
so far, the answer is any tune shop can do it?NO! you need a good TUNER with the approriate software, connections, and info to tune it and delete the rear o2 sensor.PS it is easier to get high hp with out bypassing emissions. :)
prasamin
check swedespeed, they might be able to help you therethey'll help you with your hemorrhoid problems, but that's about it.Your car has newer software, there is limited info on it, and it is a bit more difficult to unlock. If you find a tuner that can flash your ECU, then you're lucky. The only names that come to mind are IPD/MTE and Evolve. OR, if there was a Euro/Canadian model for your car, you can get the Euro/Canadian ECU somehow, drop that in, and call it a day.
azinwa
The rear O2 sensor is used to monitor the Oxygen storage capacity of the Catalitic Converter. Most new cars with WB Air Fuel Ratio sensors upstream use both up and downstream to base longterm fuel trim as well. You do not need to remove the post cat O2 sensor in order to make power!Bert
crazykn
I know InMotion can do it. They gave me all sorts of programming capabilites for me if I send my ECU into them. They could delete things like EGR and such, so the rear O2 should be possible. Just google 'InMotion ECU'
leurven
Tony at EPLabs in Stratford, CT can probably reflash it to eliminate the need for a 2nd O2 sensor. Why do you want rid of it anyway?
