Chopper
Make sure you check your gasket! I was about to install my head when I turned this over.I got a new head gasket, Elring brand. Opened it, turned it over, material marred all over the black. This head gasket costs about $35, Volvo OE costs about $75. I'd go with Volvo. Just my 2 cents.More pics. Chopper
V70 is my beater so to speak. I treat it a lot better than my last beater (88 Jeep Cherokee Pioneer)....you could beat the doors off that thing. Anyway, I'm happy with a stock V70...at the milage it would cost a lot to get this car in "stage 0" so to speak. The gasket was not stuck to the backing you see in the picture, so that means it was stuck to something else, then the people at Elring took it off of whatever it was stuck to, and shirk wrapped it to the packaging it was shipped it, which is not so good. The gasket is from Groton, but everytime I call Nick with a problem he takes care of it right away. In this case, more of a problem with the quality of the part than the seller.
