That's priceless... My Dad had one though, they are fun and fast to drive (b/c they are so light). Just like the Peugeot 205, they move...

What moron thinks he can pull something that big with something that small ?????

The Renault 5 Alpine was a monster, though.

I think this is a Renault Alpine:

...and this one is a Renault 5 turbo (R5T)

either way...cool cars that unfortunately are not really around too much anymore. :(

French cars

My friend had a Citroen. The factory manual started with a page called "Tools you have to buy" Turn the page and the next one said "Tools you have to make".

This is all I have to say about Citroen: 1955-1975

and one my my fav's: the XM 'break' (wagon)

My bad. Got them confused. I think the '70 Citroens were beautiful, but that's definitely an eye-of-the-beholder thing My neighbor down the street has 2 wagons, which I've never seen before. But maintenence? Sacre Bleu!

Yeah...the Alpine is famous for technological advances like the 'clapper' windshield wipers..:lol::blink:

The DS's in Portugal in the 60's with the Hydraulic height-adjustable suspension could only go to 2 service centers in the country, and the repair manual were written in French...and most mechanics in Portugal didnt speak French.

Meu Deus!!!

...and go ask your neighbor if it is a Citroen Dauphine?
