J0E
Not only breaks into the 10s, but does a good job shattering it...http://forums.corvetteforum.com/showthread.php?t=1541575'06 Z06 on P315 BFG drag-radials, otherwise bone stock. 10.85 @ 129.50. What a POS. Considering the fact that this was done on the stock [crappy] clutch and stock tune with torque-management still in effect, it's nothing short of amazing. Can't wait to take mine to the track next season. Hoping for 9.90s at ~142...and thats being conservative.

J0E
Kind of old news, but cool.Old news? This happened Saturday morning. C6Zs have been in the 10s since the first week they came out, but this is the first one to go 10s basically from the factory with the exception of tires (John's gone 11.24 bone stock). TorqueSteer
How much is full coverage insurance on one of these?
J0E
How much is full coverage insurance on one of these?Anywhere from $500 to $5000/yr.There are so many variables which effect insurance rates even on a given car that it's meaningless to throw out a random quote. The average 50+ year-old living in the suburbs with a clean record and the Z being a 4th or 5th car driven <7,500 miles a year will pay between $800-1400/yr. My insurance only went up $1800/yr since I carry all my other cars on the same policy. The S65 and M6 were both much more expensive to insure.
