New V50 Owner

:rolleyes: I have read a small artical about the 2.5T - for those of You that know what I mean 5254T3

They said it had all kinds of reinforcment in the Lower End and 5 Main Bearings that were locked Down with a lot of extra bolts , Plus

Sintered Rods and Forged Crack !

Now Is this True ? , as I Can't find any Documents to Back it Up , Please Help with any Info , as I plan on doing some Mods and would like to Know Much more about motor . , Thanks

Perhaps it is really strong- i'm not sure, but the hard part with those motors is actually making use of the engine. You'd need to figure out somehow to get a big turbo on there, which isn't easy. You'd have to get a custom exhaust manifold and some way to fit a turbo in there next to a custom manifold.

Right, because on the V50s the turbo is integrated into the exhaust manifold. You'll need some hardcore mods to get a normal setup in there.
